The soon to be launched Nokia 5000 candy bar handset is similar to the other multimedia focussed phones in the Nokia 5000-series. The Nokia 5000 is an entry-level phone and is specially meant for mobile entrepreneurs. It comes with an impressive list of features that include a 1.3 megapixel camera, large QVGA display, FM radio, MP3 player with recording capabilities, email and Bluetooth. The handset offers a great combination of design, features and affordability. Other essential features include Nokia Xpress Audio Messaging, MP3 ringtones, EDGE and GPRS connectivity. This pocket friendly phone runs on the Symbian 40 user interface. The handset would be available in three colours: Neon Blue, Cyber Green and Perfect Purple. The best part of the handset is its QVGA resolution with 2-inch 65K color TFT display. The Nokia 5000 also sports a hi-end calculator and image caller ID. It is expected to have a 336 hours of standby time and up to 4 hours 45 mins of talktime.
